PTO Supported Programs

Here’s a look at all the ways the PVHS PTO allocated its funds throughout the 2022-2023 fiscal year (7/1/22-6/30/23) to support our school!

·Generated more than $10,000 in fundraising at our Ladies* Night Out events.

·Supported and allocated startup funds to our PVHS Career Academies through the on-campus spirit store “Shark Shack”

·Hosted General Membership Meetings with Guest Speakers

·Support the SJCSD Character Counts initiative with monthly recognition breakfasts for faculty, students, and volunteers.

·Supplied testing incentives such as Pizza, Treats, Refreshments, Mints/Candies for students and proctors.

·Support organizations and club sponsors such as the National Honors Society

·Facilitate and help to contribute to student and parent programs including Senior Picnic, "New Sharks on the Block”, Sharks in Need, Holocaust Awareness traveling exhibit, MetroTown, Pickleball Tournament, Student organization and awards luncheons, Career Fair, and Freshmen Fest

·Faculty and Staff Appreciation to include: Back To School, Teacher Appreciation week, Holiday Luncheons and Gifts, Bus Drivers Gifts, Stocking the teacher lounge with Coffee and supplies, & monthly themed “treats” and contests for Admin, Faculty, Guidance, & Staff

·Contributed over $25,000 in Staff Grants for supplies and programs to support staff in Math, PE, Social Studies, Guidance, Career Academies, English, art, World Language/ASL Science, ESE & more!

·Facilitated copy room Renovation (Teachers’ Copy Room/Mailbox room) with more than $12,000 in facilities improvements, appliances, and supplies.

·Purchased 6 additional picnic tables to enhance seating for student lunch.

·Contributed flagpole for campus.

·Collaborate with Boosters to purchase supplies and equipment for campus events, including signage, tablecloths, mascot, speakers, etc. 

·Contribute to campus beautification with planters/plants.

·Support of the College Fair Event
